MouseX® Pellets: The Right Choice for Exterminating Mice and Rats
MouseX® pellets are the industry’s premier eco-friendly rodenticide. Both humane and highly-effective, it can be used to treat mice and rat problems of any magnitude. The secret to MouseX’s effectiveness and eco-friendly attributes lie in its all-natural, non-toxic formula. Manufactured in the USA from natural vegetable and cereal grains, MouseX® pellets both attract rodents and catalyze a pain-free death. Upon ingestion, MouseX® coats the stomach lining of the rodents, preventing communication between the stomach and the brain. This prompts the rodent to stop eating and drinking, eventually leading to dehydration and circulatory failure. (For the rodent, it feels like nothing more than gradually falling asleep.) Within 2-4 after ingestion, the rodent will have died.
As an added benefit, MouseX contains active ingredients that catalyze a mummification process of mouse and rat bodies, reducing odor by as much 90%. Of course, the largest benefit of MouseX is that it is non-toxic and 100% safe for humans, pets, livestock and other wildlife.
MouseX can even be ingested by birds of prey and other rodent predators with no risk of secondary kill. (Note that MouseX only exterminates mice and rats. It does not exterminate other rodents such as squirrels, moles, voles, and gophers. Keep away from pet mice, rats and gerbils.) Completely biodegradable, MouseX has a 25b classification, which means that it requires no special requirements for transport, handling, storage or disposal.
How to Use MouseX® Pellets
Using MouseX® pellets to exterminate mice and rats on your property is a straightforward, simple process. Follow these tips to get the most out of your MouseX product.
Step 1: Read all instructions on packaging before beginning treatment in your property.
Step 2: Remove all other food sources from the area you are going to treat.
Step 3: Portion the proper amount of mouse pellets into small cling wrap bags. (You can also use pre-portioned MouseX Ready Trays™ to skip the measuring.) Use 40-60 grams or 1-1/2 to 2 ounces for rats; 10-15 grams or 1/3 to 1/2 ounces for mice.
Step 4: Place cling wrap bags (or MouseX Ready Trays™) filled with pellets in areas where you have observed rodent activity. If possible, insert bundles or trays into holes and runs. Place each bundle 10 feet apart (5 feet apart in highly-infested areas).
Step 5: Top ensure maximum effectiveness, keep MouseX pellets dry and continue to bait until rat and/or mouse activity ceases. Don’t underestimate the amount of rodents on your property. Continue to refill target locations until pellets are no longer eaten. An indicator of rodent consumption will be fecal droppings bleached in color and up to 3 times larger than normal rat or mouse droppings.
